Casper
Casper is designed primarily for point‑and‑stare Earth observation, achieving a ground sampling distance of approximately 27.2 metres per pixel from an orbital altitude of 510 km. This provides high‑quality thermal imagery suitable for scientific, environmental, and operational monitoring.
These approaches significantly enhance the thermal imaging capability available to small satellite missions, expanding access to high‑resolution infrared data while maintaining a compact, flexible payload architecture. On top of that, Casper is useful for proximity operations in Space Domain Awareness applications.
